London
(Nov 2011 Winter)
Its all pretty fast pace in London. By the streets, through the alleys, in the tube, everyone walks fast. There are lots of people of different wavelengths around you. They could be loud, crazy fun or crazy senile, they could be an absolute darling to you and sometimes plain ass cranky. We arrived by train pretty late at night, i can never forget a drunk office lady slow motionly falling onto her knees in front of the atm while drawing out some cash. In one of our days, we rerouted our way in the tube cos someone was under the train. Eye openers, but some say its a norm.
They have graffitis everywhere, the art scene is way much advance of course and the museums are incredible! Natural History Museum, National Museum, Tate Museum, the list goes on! There are so many art inspiring graphic design shops that you art lovers can go crazy about!
Great Britain has got a very rich history of the royal family that many is proud about. I believe its a common topic you could tell your kids too in future. (Like how my mum knows who marries who, who divorced, who’s the cousin) You meet the best of both worlds. The crazy party youths looking all fly, the old couples romantically holding hands, the homeless souls, well, everyone is bolder in their character. You’ve got to be a toughie to survive!
Try to have hot latte and have a walk in Hyde Park. Though the sun is shinning but the weather is still too cold, you begin to realize, that warm latte is very comforting. Comfort in a cup!
Apart from the usual must sees like the Big Ben, London Bridge, London Eye, Buckingham Palace with the change of guards at 11am daily, get lost in their flea markets, cycle about, spend a lot of time in the museums and drown yourselves with their history.
London is pretty modernized in every aspect you could think. Wait till i tell you about Italy!

ZSL LONDON ZOO, UK
My highlight would be the gorillas and the giraffes. Gorillas are oh-so-mighty! I feel so fragile just looking at them. Their physic and masculinity could just break you with just one slap! Giraffes on the other hand were so gentle and so welcoming to see them.
A chilling ‘Yoda’ froggie caught my attention. He looking at me and say, “May the force be witchu, señorita “
PORTOBELLO/ CAMDEN FLEA MARKETS - LDN, UK.
Such great finds of gems and antiques, food galore and shop warehouses.
We found tiny kaleidoscopes, 50year calendar keychains, collectibles, girls can go crazy with affordable fancy tops and jackets. Souvenir keychains here are at pretty good deals. A great find for booties, doc marts and wellies. A place you should visit apart from the normal Selfridges or Topshops at Oxford Street city area.
